How much web developers charge for social networking website?
I am planning to create social networking website like facebook.
Please any one tell me if I hire freelancers or professional companies, how much do they charge?
Give rough idea for both of them.
Also, If I hire web developers from India or China, how much it will cost me?
From India, if you hire an outsource company, expect to pay $8 to 10 per hour.
If you hire an individual from India, expect to pay $4 to $6 per hour.
Expect it to take twice as long and be half as good. I have no experience with IT from China, but I can tell you that if my experience from India IT is any clue, the people that do web design for outsource companies in India get about $4/hr and if they were in America, they would still only be worth $4/hr. (I warned you)
Expect to pay anyone in the USA $2000+ depending on features. This is a "getting started" price for basic Facebook functionality.
Expect that coming close to what you get from Facebook will take a very long time and probably cost over $6000++ when the details are finished.
You could easily pay over $50,000 depending on who you hire and what the project details are.
What is the Main Social Networking Site that you primarily Use and Why?
Hello im conducting a study about social networking.
Basically i just want to know:
1. How has Social Networking changed your life?
2. What is the Main Social Networking Site that you primarily Use and Why?
facebook. its a general setup you can add more pictures and say more unlike twitter
its actually kind of a burden, you know way more then you should/want to about people.
What are the most important features of a social networking website to you?
I am building a social networking site and I would like to have some ideas as to what people really want in a social networking site. All responses are very much appreciated.
Friends, groups, quickchat, photos, photo tagging.
Is there a social networking site that links every single other?
And if not do you think it would be a good idea?
For example, you sign up for this one social networking site and it link up everything you are a member of, facebook, twitter, youtube, flicker, tumblr, every single email account you’ve got, and you can switch between them all with one click. Which would make it much easier for people who have several accounts on certain networking sites, or even emails. I know that hotmail only allows four/five emails to be linked together to easily switch between them, and other than that you have to log out to access the rest.
So do you think you’d use a site like that? One log in and you’re automatically able to access every single email account, youtube, twitter, facebook, and nearly every kind of site you could use? Would you sign up and use it?
And also, it allows you to easily find other people who are on different sites because it links up your email addresses to them.
Cause it would be especially handy if you were on a public computer. That way you would only have to remember to log out of one site, instead of four or five you might log into.

What certifications should I get for the networking field?
I am about to graduate with my Associates Degree in Networking and am taking my CCNA next week. I was also planning on getting Network+, Security+, MCITP. Are these good and are there any others I should definitely get? Also, is A+ beneficial for the networking field? Thanks.
A+ is a good one to have under your belt in general. You might consider also placing this question in the http://www.certguard.com forums as they have very knowledgable IT pros that can help you. You are right on track with the ones you are planning on getting, a little surprised you are starting with the CCNA though as that is considered more advanced than Sec or Net+. You may also want to sample some free practice exams to help you from http://www.knowledgebuster.com
Does anyone know the name of the 15 year old boy who died at EDC Dallas today?
If so, do you have his social network links like tumblr, facebook, twitter ect and do you know his cause of death?
These kind of information are always held secure as neither the family nor the business wants undue attention.
These Rave parties are notoriously dangerous and a teen girl dies at the same event in Los Angeles last year.
In addition to this teen age boy dying, there were 25-30 people hospitalized with emergencies related to either drug or alcohol use and even heat related issues.
Can anyone explain to me why the Pentagon and other secure organisations use the WWW?
I am constantly surprised how many defence related organisations still have their supposedly secure networks open to the WWW. If your network links to the Web it can be attacked. The latest victim is Lockheed Martin. Can anyone explain why this is so?
I believe the British Military did invest in a closed system. Surely it is not impossible to separate your general traffic through the WWW and your secure traffic through a closed system, preferably using a closed telecommunications system.
Takes our money to build a separate infrastructure and votes to allow it. Start lobbying.

Are there any university programs that offer a degree in computer networking as opposed to general computer science? What are the differences between the two, and does having one degree makes you more qualified than the other?

No, because it’s all through one router, you might have to pay for a wirlees router but apart from that they shouldn’t have to pay anymore.
How do I publish links from commission junction, linkshare, and other affiliate programs to my twitter and fb?
I have posted banners on my blog, but do not know which code to use for promoting the links on my social networks.
I am only interested in recommending products that I like and deals I find to my followers. This is not considered spamming.
