    Ethernet packets don’t get lost on wired either, but it does have a lot of collisions. Running a change of voltage on one of the wires allow the units to communicate. I would say ground, but I’m not certain. Anyways, If your house is older, you could have issues with this kind of setup. Due to the wiring standards. Newer homes, Just run an wireless Ethernet bridge to solve those issues.

    I don’t use this exact model. I use something similar from Netgear. Using it just for gaming consoles should be fine. Of course using it on a computer you’d notice it being slower.
