    @VistaApple Are you sure it sucks and your modem, computer, cable/phone company doesn’t suck? Had mine for over a year with no problems and the fastest most reliable speeds to date…of course I pay over a hundred a month for internet. Might want to look at other potential bottlenecks before bashing something for no reason.

    They suck don’t they? mine looses connection all the time when I’m playing ps3 online and when I’m on msn not all my messages that people r sending me come through.
    So it’s like I’m ignoring them when it hasn’t come through

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT listen to that idiot talking about mac filtering.
    It is true (to a certain extent) that WPA and WEP slows down the wifi speed BUT IT IS SECURE.
    WPA is anyway – WEP is so so easy to crack.
    It is very easy to alter the mac filtering system remotely to allow the hackers mac address onto the network. Once they are on, they can cause all sorts of problems that could easily have been avoided.
    Encrypt with WPA using a random sequence of letters and numbers for best results.

    every router will work fine, although i would suggest a good router and a great isp, i have a bad isp and i get roughly 25% in the upstairs, right above the router.
