Figured I’d … Figured I’d checkout the tutorials before entering a basic network class…they always seem to help augment course lectures. Thx for posting.
Protocols can be … Protocols can be explained in different lesson. But I think that be good idea to tell us what’s a difference between physical and logical address. Few words about MAC and IP addresses. Tutorial is moving up in OSI stock so we striping data from a frame – but what data ?
cheers
Thanks, i’ve been … Thanks, i’ve been searching different vids, and yours makes sense. Yes you could have gone into more detail about protocols etc. maybe even word for word in the book if that makes the whiners happy but i don’t mind, i’ll find it somewhere else. That’s part of the fun right? Who wants everything handed to them? oh yes that’s right rich people do. lol
“So it contains.. … “So it contains.. its pretty much all of your data, but it contains.. all of.. other data too.. it that makes sense”. *Laughs*.
But yeah, nice tutorial but too simplified. You should mention the different protocols, services and devices in the Link layer such as ARP, CSMA (/CD), network switches, etc. Keep up the good work
