What is the use of nvidia nforce 10/100 Mbps networking controller? Is it good for wireless internet?

I have nvidia nforce 10/100 Mbps networking controller listed under network adapters in device manager. Is it sufficient for setting up a wireless internet connection or do i have to buy a wlan adapter?

10/100 Mbps always indicates wired internet.
So, yes you need to buy a wireless adapter.
