Posted on December 25th, 2009 by admin in internet networking | 16 Comments »

This tutorial shows you how to check to see if anybody is using your network. Good for finding out people who steals your wireless internet. I recommend you to secure your network with a key (WEP, WPA).

Enjoy! and Subscribe!

Ok if you can’t comprehend the video, this is the procedure:
1st Way: Go to start menu, then click run, then type in cmd, then type in NET VIEW (make sure its spaced), hit enter on your keyboard, you should now see all the computers connected on your network
2nd Way: Go to start menu, click on all connections of the ‘Connect To’ tab. Then click on my network places on the left. Then click on ‘View workgroup computers.’ You should see all the computers on your network.

*Secure Your Network or else people may steal it. Your neighbors and anybody can steal it if they are in a proper range. For more information, Google ‘How to Set Up WEP/WPA Key’

Ever since some new neighbors moved in I’ve been getting slow connection (I can see their computer though a window) so I did what the video says and it says there was an extra computer on my network (PWND!). After that I made a new WEP and renamed my connection (Temporarily) to “Go away Freeloaders” I felt happy after that >:D
