I have networking links to agents in a few children talent agencies in NYC & I’m thinking about becoming a private manager so I can recruit some kids into modeling and perhaps make some profit. My only question is how to start.. I know I need a contract binding me to the children to have their parents sign but can I barrow one from the internet (edit it of course) or do I need to an entertainment lawyer to make me one? Please help!

If you want a contract that is sound and will stand up in court, then you need to go to a lawyer that specializes in entertainment law, and pay them to draw one up for you to your specifications. If you don’t know what you are doing you need a professional to do it for you, not a bunch of "yahoos" on a free advice site.

For a class project, we’re looking for the links of social networking sites (facebook, twitter, youtube, etc.) that helped organize the protests in Egypt and Tunisia. We’re looking for the original links in Arabic created by Egyptians and Tunisians.

This a link for a facebook page for Anonymous who did alot of help online for the Tunisian’s and will possibly do the same for the Egyptians. I have a home network linked with player on each. The problem is there is no access to any drives including the DVD drives. It lists music and so forth, but nothing for any drives. So from computer A one cannot see or even start a DVD drive on computer B. Am I missing something?

Please note that if you are connecting to a DSL modem, the modem "Network Connection Type" needs to be changed from "PPPoE" to "Bridged Ethernet", then connect the modem output to the router input

If you get your internet connection via a cable modem, nothing needs to be done, just connect the modem output to the router input.

Two computers, linked via network. One of their hard drives crashed–computer still turns on, but won’t go past start up screens, can I turn it on and use the other one to go through my network to retrieve a needed file, or do I need to buy a USB hard drive enclosure to do the transfer?

Yes – USB hard drive enclosure.
If the busted PC won’t start up then it won’t be running any network services so will not be visible.

I work for a small electronics company and am wondering if building a group page on LinkedIn would help our search engine optimization? When someone joins your group, does the link to your site on their page help increase your number of inbound links?

There are some social networks which will help your PR because they have not made the links on their sites nofollow. Linked In Q&A articles, Yahoo Answers and You Tube frequently show up in Google’s SERP’s so it is worth the time to develop company profiles on Linked In and You Tube. Facebook is questionable depending on your target demographic. Though most of the popular social networking sites won’t help you with SEO to your site, they could rank themselves in the top 10 results, driving traffic and increasing your shelf space, so not a waste of time to use them.

I have a password on it before but i have to reset everything because i got a new cable modern but when i connect it to my router this time it doesnt ask for a password and it show as unsecured network. How can i put the password back onto it? please help thank you.

Go to your router’s user interface:

Key in the default user name and password:

If the defaults don’t work then it was changed (maybe you or someone else who set up the wireless system in your home). To reset it, poke a pin or pen tip at the small hole at the back of the router. Hold it until the power goes off and back on. This will reset your router. You may now log in using the defaults and configure your router.

There are two kinds of passwords you can set. One is the password to access the user interface and other one is the password to access the wireless connection which is what you were asking about.

As for the wireless password, use WPA2 instead of WEP encryption as the latter is less secure and easy to hack in 60 secs by anyone who know how.
