I need some links to Computer Science Networking lectures.?
Hey,
My CS teacher asked me to find a few lectures on Computer Networks like Peer-to-peer, Client/Server modal, hybrid etc. Anything. So can anyone give me a few links to lectures that aren’t TOO complex. I’m in the 11th grade. And no, this is NOT a homework.
Can you send me 3-5 links to video lectures. If you can find more, it’s even better! Thanks in advance for your support.
Need video lectures, the teacher will show everyone on a laptop, so written is not an option :/ And I’m the only one who is supposed to bring some lectures. That’s because I know more about computers than the rest of the class. Of course, I’ve found some too but you can help as well.
Are you against reading…
Those are all basic concepts I dont think you can call those lectures…
You can find lectures on Protocols, practices even software…
I truly doubt your teacher going to look at ever lecture every student brings in…
There’s nothing complex about: Peer-to-peer, Client/Server model, hybrid etc.
And most lectures or "Webinars" you must sign up for….
—————————————
Well buddy your best bet is to video cap some webinar videos as like i said lectures on that will be covered in the basis… and lectured in webinars, as if i sign up for one and send it to you, you will need an account as well… try looking for some on torrents too.

how do I check the signals from my RS232 cable?
How do I check and see if the correct signals are communicating between my DCE and DTE on a SCADA network. I’m talking about the ring, RTS, CTS, DTR, ect…. I would like to view each one. Is there a software program or a tool? I know the obvious thing is to check each end to see if they register each other, but I’d like to disect the network link a little. Thanks.
The web page at:
http://www.piclist.com/techref/io/serial/rs232.htm has a few RS232 monitor programs for PC’s (look under "RS232 Monitor Programs" and some information on cables to attach to those signals.
I’ve always just used an oscilloscope. A digital with triggering does a fine job of showing you want is actually going on. I’m not sure if a meter would be useful if the lines are change state quickly, and an analog scope is useless if the data isn’t repeating very consistently and often.

Is there a social networking site that links every single other?
And if not do you think it would be a good idea?
For example, you sign up for this one social networking site and it link up everything you are a member of, facebook, twitter, youtube, flicker, tumblr, every single email account you’ve got, and you can switch between them all with one click. Which would make it much easier for people who have several accounts on certain networking sites, or even emails. I know that hotmail only allows four/five emails to be linked together to easily switch between them, and other than that you have to log out to access the rest.
So do you think you’d use a site like that? One log in and you’re automatically able to access every single email account, youtube, twitter, facebook, and nearly every kind of site you could use? Would you sign up and use it?
And also, it allows you to easily find other people who are on different sites because it links up your email addresses to them.
Cause it would be especially handy if you were on a public computer. That way you would only have to remember to log out of one site, instead of four or five you might log into.

Does anyone know the name of the 15 year old boy who died at EDC Dallas today?
If so, do you have his social network links like tumblr, facebook, twitter ect and do you know his cause of death?
These kind of information are always held secure as neither the family nor the business wants undue attention.
These Rave parties are notoriously dangerous and a teen girl dies at the same event in Los Angeles last year.
In addition to this teen age boy dying, there were 25-30 people hospitalized with emergencies related to either drug or alcohol use and even heat related issues.
Can anyone explain to me why the Pentagon and other secure organisations use the WWW?
I am constantly surprised how many defence related organisations still have their supposedly secure networks open to the WWW. If your network links to the Web it can be attacked. The latest victim is Lockheed Martin. Can anyone explain why this is so?
I believe the British Military did invest in a closed system. Surely it is not impossible to separate your general traffic through the WWW and your secure traffic through a closed system, preferably using a closed telecommunications system.
Takes our money to build a separate infrastructure and votes to allow it. Start lobbying.
