I’ve been considering majoring in Political Science for a long time, but I’ve recently been thinking if that’s where I want to go. I see we live in the ground zero of the technology age, and really, the communication age. I was wondering what a good major would be for someone who is interested in the internet overall, but also social networking and it’s power to connect people.

Consider computer science and communications. A double major in them might prepare you to develop new networking concepts.

1. Go to Control Panel, Network and Internet, Network and Sharing Center
2. Under Change your networking settings, click Set up a new connection or network
3. Select Set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network
4. Enter your Network name, and enter a Security key if wanted
5. Check the box for Save this network and click Turn on Internet connection sharing on next page

I have nvidia nforce 10/100 Mbps networking controller listed under network adapters in device manager. Is it sufficient for setting up a wireless internet connection or do i have to buy a wlan adapter?

10/100 Mbps always indicates wired internet.
So, yes you need to buy a wireless adapter.
